Greg Aziz was born in Beirut but moved to Toronto when he was 18, where he attended York University for business studies and met his wife from Ottawa. In 2014, he was nominated for Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young. Greg then started Red Bull Canada as a way to provide job creation for Canadian youth.
He is an outstanding business leader. He holds huge accomplishments under his wing.Since then, he has grown the company to over 200 employees and has created over 14,000 jobs in Canada. Greg Aziz is now working on the new headquarters for Red Bull in Toronto. Greg’s automotive career started in 1989 when he purchased a car wash and detailing business.
He sold that business in 1994 and bought a used car dealership in 1995. He then opened more locations and became one of the largest dealerships in Canada by 2005, selling over 2500 cars that year. In 2017, Greg Aziz became the executive chairman of Red Bull Canada.
This, after moving from managing the company’s day-to-day operations to doing so as an executive chairman. The business leader´s latest project is the launch of Red Bull Canada and its new headquarters in Toronto. Greg Aziz is also working with BBB Canada to raise awareness of business ethics and has recently partnered up with Guru Nanak Hospitality.
Greg Aziz explains that they partnered with the Guru Nanak Hospitality in order to begin opening boutique hotels across Canada. He has won several awards for his work and dedication, including the Businessman of the Year from Ernst and Young, the Top CEO award from Canadian Business magazine, and a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year by the Toronto Board of Trade.
