Mirabaud Group is a Swiss private banking group established in 1819 by the Italian banker Giacomo Mirabaud, who emigrated to Geneva following the Napoleonic Wars. The Group is headquartered in Geneva.
Bio
The family is a Swiss family of Italian origin that established itself in Geneva in the 18th century and made its fortune in banking. After the Napoleonic Wars, Giacomo Mirabaud, born in Milan, came to Geneva and started working at his uncle’s bank. After his death, Giacomo took over the private bank.
Investment management:
The bank’s advisory activities comprise asset management services such as wealth and asset management planning programs, trust administration services such as fund organization consulting, or the set-up of personal trusts with discretionary powers for specific charities. It also offers investment advisory services in shares and bonds through its subsidiary company.
Personal banking:
Personal banking services include checking and savings accounts, mortgages and loans to purchase real estate, financial planning for individuals, advising on the management of personal assets, and sponsorship of events such as exhibitions or artistic performances. The bank also manages its customers’ financial affairs in the Isle of Man.
