Greycoat Real Estate has issued a series of comments on new plans for an area of London that has long resisted attention. This is the area known as Billionaire’s Row. Plans for several hundred highly inexpensive new homes in this region have been announced.
However, corporate inaction has combined with a lack of planning to delay any action. This should not be viewed as the fault of Greycoat Real Estate or any of its peers. The real estate agency is likely to own property in this region. However, the area where a number of celebrities and other wealthy personas have long called home has been in a parlous state.
There are a number of reasons why this has become the case in the last few years. Whatever the real cause of the calamity may be, much of this area is now awash in active dereliction (CoStar).
This is a fact that has been duly noted by Greycoat Real Estate Agency and a number of its peers in the industry. Abandoned mega mansions have dotted the area for far too long. Now, a number of famous architects are proposing to make a change.
Exactly what the solution may consist of is not a question that can be answered at the moment. The fact remains that Greycoat Real Estate would have to be consulted, at least concerning its own properties in the area. At the same time, plans for new homes would have to be hashed out among the owners of the other adjoining properties.
