Ben Roethlisberger And Micah Tyler Team Up For Homeless

Former Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback and future Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger is using his foundation to build stronger families. After nearly 20 years of playing in the pros, Roethlisberger is determined to give back and take care of others the way he was during his competitive days.

Roethlisberger is now a married father of three. And one of the things that he holds nearest and dearest to his heart is teaming up with country music sensation Micah Tyler to feed the homeless population. Both are partnering with the Light of Life Rescue Mission and supply one meal for every DIFFERENT T-shirt with the black and gold emblem that is sold.

With gladness, Ben Roethlisberger is teaming up with Micah Tyler, especially because they both share a deep love and connection with Pittsburgh.

“It’s a opportunity to celebrate and let people know that we are all just one big happy family.”

The t-shirts are available at the website www.thedifferentshirt.com on Friday. There will be a certain number of printed shirts that can also be found at Love Pittsburgh locations around the city. The t-shirts are available in both kid and adult sizes and are on sale for $25.

“We are extremely grateful for all of the support both Micah and Ben Roethlisberger have given in helping our city’s homeless population,” said Rev. Jerrel T. Gilliam, Light Of Life Executive Director. “Our doors are always open for all individuals who are in need of assistance.”

Tyler says she met Roethlisberger several years ago and has always been a fan. She had given him several T-shirts and was honored when she saw him sporting it at training camp. She says she knew it would be a great idea to pair up with Light Of Life to provide such a special service. Refer to this article for related information.
