Maven Announces Its Leadership with Ross Levinsohn Taking over Its Leadership

The company recently announced that it was changing its name from Maven to the Arena Group. This change is part of many changes which are currently going on at the company. The announcement is that the company is also changing its top leadership with a new leader appointed. The publisher recently announced that they are getting new sports illustrated CEO replacing James Heckman who has been the company’s CEO for a long time. James is being replaced by Ross Levinsohn who is taking over as the sports illustrated CEO.

However, this does not mean that the former CEO, James Heckman will exit the company effectively; he will stay around for some time. His role for this time that he will be around will be to offer advice on the most critical strategic and other business activities and initiatives the company has put in place. James will only leave the company entirely once the company is fully convinced that the new sports illustrated CEO is best placed to move the company forward. The company also announced that they were increasing its funding to help them grow and support all its media sports brands.

The appointment of the new sports illustrated CEO is part of the company’s evolution which targets the company’s management in other areas. The choice of Ross Levisohn for this position is strategic given his experience and what he has been able to do and achieve. They believe he is the right man who can help effectively implement and execute the strategic initiatives at the company. Mr. Ross is a man full of experience having worked with many organizations for many years in different companies realizing great success in the process.

Ross boasts over 30 years of work experience accrued in different companies. He has excellent experience in finance and technology also. At some point, Ross served as the CEO of Yahoo though on an interim basis a mandate he dispensed so well. He is joining Maven when the company is going through a lot of transition not just in management but in other areas. Considering his experience serving in similar roles, he is expected to help the company achieve its objectives.
