a leader in athletic and fitness accessories, has announced a significant
leadership change. Michael Polk has been appointed as the Interim Chief
Executive Officer, succeeding Seth Richards. This transition accompanies the
departure of both Richards and President Todd Vore, who are moving on to pursue
other opportunities.
Michael Polk’s extensive background in the consumer products sector makes him a valuable
addition to Implus. Prior to this role, Michael Polk
served as President and CEO of Newell Brands from 2011 to 2019. His leadership
experience extends to key positions at Unilever and Kraft, as well as an early
career start at The Procter & Gamble Company.
Dave Bordeau, Chairman of the Implus Board of Directors, expressed confidence in Polk’s
ability to drive the company’s next phase of growth. “We are pleased to
welcome Michael Polk to Implus. Michael Polk’s expertise will be instrumental in scaling our business and
expanding our market presence,” said Bordeau.
Polk, who holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, is also a board member of Colgate-Palmolive
and Logitech International. He expressed enthusiasm about his new role,
