Sleep problems can have a devastating effect on people’s health and ruin their lives. A talented dentist with a practice in New Jersey, Dr. Avi Weisfogel has created a number of effective ways to treats sleep apnea using his dentistry training. Weisfogel graduated from Rutgers University with an undergraduate degree in biology and psychology. He went on to the College of Dentistry at New York University to earn his DDS. While there, he started hearing about using dentistry to treat sleep disorders. After founding Old Bridge Dental Care in New Jersey, Dr. Weisfogel began working on ways to treat sleep apnea and work with sleep patients.
After a while, Dr. Weisfogel designed a range of dental appliances that could be used to help patients with breathing-related sleep problems. He then started teaching other dentists what he had discovered. Soon Dr. Weisfogel was travelling the globe talking to dentists and people in other industries about how to use custom-made dental appliances to treat sleep apnea. The response has been so good, he decided to found Owner Unlimited Sleep Patients, a think tank where dentists and other professionals could share information with each other about ways to treat sleep disorders.
Another way Dr. Avi Weisfogel has helped people with sleep issues is by creating the Dental Sleep Masters program. This program has been used by a growing number of dentists to provide effective relief for people with sleep disorders. Dr. Weisfogel continues to make valuable contributions to helping people better understand and treat sleep apnea and other sleep problems. He has created a network of dentists all across the United States sleep patients can turn to for assistance. Dr. Weisfogel has also helped them to set up sleep labs and make their dental practices more profitable.
For Dr. Avi Weisfogel, making money isn’t the focus. His goal is to improve the lives of as many people with sleep problems as possible. He continues to travel globally sharing the techniques and technologies he’s developed to address the breathing problems that rob many people of the sleep they need to enjoy optimal health.
